JVideoDirect is an exciting project. It looks fantastic and I look forward to using it -- but I think I am going to have to wait until version 1.1.

I am just doing the fetch/grab version as I am on shared hosting. However, I am experiencing much difficulty in configuring this and getting quite a few errors.

I can embed Youtube videos. But then:

1. Click on any link to a jomsocial group and the group does not disply, only JVD groups.

2. JomComment (in JVD) has to be disabled for the player to display.

3. I get a "No valid filetypes found in this playlist" showing on the player.

So everything looks good, until I try to play the video -- or click on group links.

Also, I look forward to more detailed documentation.

Some suggestions:

A category in the forum for Jom Social integration as I think this will be a big market for JVD.

Create a wiki so your users can help build the documentation.

1. i don't quite understand. So you click on jomsocial group and jvd group displayed ?
Are you actually clicking jvd group, cause we have menu link in jomsocial menu bar.

2. this is interesting. like to see your site and check out why.

3. are you clicking this in jomsocial? Playlist in JVD will only play videos that can be played in the player, e.g. if video fetched from other site and player from other site is used (that site video is not supported to be played in flvplayer), then playlist cannot play those videos.

Is there a way to access your site ? I like to see it and have it solved for you...
