is the component a payed component or free i know your modules and plugins are for subscription users
can you remove your copyright notice i currently use hwdmediashare for my videos will it be easy to transfer them using your software

the component is free but subscribers will get the latest version.
copyright notice ? powered by ? yes, in backend configuration.Of course we like it to be there.
To transfer existing video, use backend "import data" tool, there is one called "server upload" and you can choose auto or manual mode.

hi thanks for getting back i have some more questions when i goto download the component joomla say it cant find the xml file when i unzip the file it has the following extension com_jvideodirect.1.1.RC2a
when i upload to server i get the following

jvideodirect is a relatively big package.
you may need to use the other two options in the joomla installer ...
otherwise, if you can provide your admin access to us via "contact us", we are more than happy to install for you
other thing that i can think of ... is your tmp directory writable?

sorted that part now i have cannot connect to mysql database after doing the test procedure but that could be my server provider as i cant connect using ftp or access my cpanel
