Site bullet tree menu does not display 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

When a user goes into any video category the Site's left bullet tree menu does not get displayed.

Only the site's main menu is displayed.

This left bullet tree menu is dislyed in the other areas of JvideoDirect (For example before you go into a video category).

I'm not sure if this is common or if this is how Jvideo direct is designed.

I have read through the documentation and forum but have not found anything that helps.

Could you please offer some advice?

We do not have this issue with any other component.

We are using the JSN Epic Pro 2.0 Template in Joomla 1.5.15.

I have attached a screenshot (I think)

Thank you
Steve

Hi Cassie,

Yes they disappear. The modules are definitely assigned correctly, the menu is there and works in all other JvideoDirect items (eg upload, Groups etc) it just seems to be within the categories themselves.

I have included a Screenshot so you can see the menu there on the left of the categories.

In the Screenshot in the first post it is missing.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Cassie,

The jvideodirect component is only for one section of our site (ie inspirational videos).

This means that we are not able to set the menu assignment to all web site pages in the module.

We have set it to all pages in the inspriational section though.

Is there a way to add some code to the php or to the css that would force the menus to display on these category pages?

Are the individual category pages in Jvideodirect created dynamically or is there a way to assign the menus to the category pages in the back end? (they don't seem to be listed).

Thank you for your help
Steve

Hi Cassie,

Thank you for the info and the help.

Now the left menus are on the play and sort pages.

Even though the menus are there, the purple background colour and other formattiog of the menu is missing.

The menu module's were copied so the configuration of these new ones are identical to the main Jvideodirect menu.

Is there something else we need to do to get the menus to display correctly?
