I was following the thread where another person had the same problem. I just got lost following on how you fixed the issue. Mine is in an infinite loop. Uploaded the same video 50,000+ times. Any help would be great because I was in the middle of showing a client on the functionality of JVideoDirect and this happened. Big bummer. Any help would be appreciated. I am new to Joomla and JVideo. I found this thread but I don't really understand it if someone could help me out or walk me through it I would greatly appreciate it.

"After bothering ethan for more than an hour, he solved the problem by:

1. installing latest version
2. chmod 777 to all required directories RECURSIVELY. Which means:
|_a) /jMediaDirect
|_b) /components/com_jvideodirect/buffer
|_c) /administrator/components/com_jvideodirect/tools/temp
|_d) and ALL SUB-FOLDERS OF /jMediaDirect
3. changed the php path to /usr/local/bin/php (even though my host -HostGator- was saying it was usr/bin/php. So keep that in mind, ppl!)
