TOPIC: Invalid zip files for installation

Invalid zip files for installation 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
subscribed yesterday to jVideoDirect and downloaded the necessary files for joomla 1.5.
Unfortunately, all the downloaded files seem to be invalid!
The install manager in joomla gives the following error message: JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::folder:
"Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."

Please advise

I do not think it has anything to do with my environment, althought I'm relatively new in using Joomla. The zip files from the downloaded section seem to be the problem. They won't even unzip using a simple computing environment:

"Windows cannot open the folder.
The Compresses (zipped) Folder '..\..\com_jvideodirect.1.1.rc1b.zip.zip' is invalid"

Also, is it normal that the zip files have a .zip suffix, making it XXX.zip.zip.
Am I missing something?

I deleted my old files and re-downloaded from the download area.
The files still cannot be unzipped!
Here is the error message I get when trying to install from Joomla:

"
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.

Still enable to install
So that we are clear, we are talking about the following files in the downoad area:

com_jvideodirect.1.1.rc1b.zip.zip
ext_joomsef3_jvideodirect.zip.zip
jvd_grabbers_set_unzip1st.zip.zip
mod_dv_categories.zip.zip
mod_dv_listing_unzip1st.zip.zip
mod_dv_tagcloud.zip.zip
mod_dv_viewport.zip.zip
plg_community_jvideodirect.zip.zip
plg_content_jvideodirect_tags.zip.zip
plg_jvideodirect_dummy.zip.zip
plg_search_jvideodirect.zip.zip
plug_cb_jvideodirect.zip.zip
plug_xmap_jvideodirect.zip.zip
sh404sef.zip.zip

Once again, why the .ZIP.ZIP extension?
Is it what's causing the problem?
If not, can you direct me to another source (or method) to acquire those files?
I really need it now.
