Joomla Multi-Sites is a widely used site core sharing system.

Has anyone worked to make JVD compatible with it?

For example, JMS shares all but cache, image and template directories.

Can we change the /jMediaDirect/ directory location?

This is something we are thinking of implementing after the next release.
In our team discussion, it can be moved to anywhere after public_html directory.
However, we like to do more by moving it before public_html directory.
by doing so, it will have an extra level of permission issue.
Still figuring out how it can be done.
