Video Listing Module and Tool Tips Bugs 10 Months, 1 Week ago

There seems to be a couple of problems with the tool tips
and the video listing module.
1) The tips don't show
2) I stops the rest of the template from loading in internet explorer
7 and 8 (not sure about 6) when the top tips is switched on.
This is with tool tips set up in picture only view - which is when the tool tips are needed most.
3) Also the video listings module only works in certain positions in my yoo theme
template. If it is put in any of the main centralised positions which the component
associated with it will not load.

After playing with it for a while I have now got it working in all module positions, but only under very precise conditions. It works as long as the number entered for
"number of items per row" is exactly one less than the actually number being displayed and only if the widths of the thumbnails spacing adds up exactly to the width of the container. Hope that helps.
However switching on Tool Tips still breaks the template in internet explorer. 7 and 8 not sure about 6. The site is not yet live but I have put it online for a while so you can see the problem. I am very glad you created this component.
Neterex.com
I think it will be a big success. Interegrating long tail add and there video player particularly might be a good idea. The seems to be a problem with the community builder integration also. I will create a new thread for that after I have checked it out fully. Just to clarity. For the files that you have stated need to be copied to other directories for this to work. Do the files remaining in the original location need to be deleted.

Your site looks great.
I found that your site is very wide. need to use scroll bar if people don't use a wide screen with high resolution.
I see your problem, let me re-produce it locally ...
We are glad that you have figure out how to have "listing" module setup.
The scroller required a container is precise pixel.
Since the scroller option is there, non-scroller will need to follow the rule.
We do aware that it seems to be confuse with different style listings packed together.
We decide to break them into separate module...
Since you have the experience to setup the modules and is publicly aware, we like to seek you advise on rather or not this modules should be separated into individual modules. Thanks in advance.
I also notice on your site that on the video playback page, a channel link is missing from "channel". Did you purposely disable the channel?

Regarding the splitting up of the modules. I think it would be OK to leave it as one module if instructions are placed in the description area within the module admin area.
I also notice that in picture only view IE places space between the thumbnails even when spacing is set to zero.
On your other point. I have not disabled any channels. What channel link were you refering to ? Perhaps this is a bug I did not noticed.
Any luck with the tool tips in IE problem ?

Yes, we decide to split them too.
A container must be used if scroll is on.
We will simplify it using auto calculate container size.
and no container if scroll is off.
It will be out together with version 0.3 very soon target no later than mid next week.
We will also review tooltip issue.
Tooltip uses standard joomla function. This is kind of weird.
It must have conflicted with other modules.
