If Jomcomment is installed, you can just enable jomcomment in configuation.

jVideoDirect Plugins

Video Grabbers
Grabbers are categorized into two types.

  1. linkage only - It will grab the user's video from other platform's by embeding into jVideoDirect together with the players.
  2. download and linkage - It will grab the user's video from other platforms by downloading it to the server and start conversion if configure to do so. Video will be playback using players installed jVideoDirect and chosen by administrator.

jVideoDirect will be able to determine the grabber types and apply to it according to configuration set by administrator.

Currently availiable supported platforms:

Type 1: Tudou, Veoh,  Gametrailers, Yahoo, Megavideo
Type 2: Google, Dailymotion, Metacafe, Vimeo, Youtube, Blip.tv, Revver


Plugin types:

  1. jVideoDirect plugins
    • Only Video Grabbers and Video Players use jVideoDirect Plugins and is required to be installed at
      administrator > component > jVideoDirect > plugins.
    • All other plugins use joomla plugin system.
  2. jVideoDirect Developer Tools Addon Plugins
    • Use joomla plugin system which required to be installed at
      administrator > extension > install / uninstall.
  3. Integration plugins
    • jomsocial use joomla plugins system which required to be installed at
      administrator > extension > install / uninstall.
    • community builder plugin is required to be installed at cb component administrator.
